I had the pleasure of reviewing this book “Bead Bugs: Cute, Creepy, and Quirky Projects to Make with Beads, Wire, and Fun Found Objects,” by Amy Kopperude.
This book includes twenty-three fun tutorials for making bugs out of beads. Each tutorial gives step-by-step instructions and includes vivid photographs of the finished bug creation. Making these cute bead bugs are sure to be fun for family and friends. You can create bugs to wear, use around the house, or sit out for decoration and fun conversation when guests come over for a visit.
My favorite Bead Bug creations in the book are the Ladybug, Seahorse, Fireflies, Honeybee, and Caged Owl. Even the spiders are cute! I look forward to showing this book to my youngest nephew. He likes going through Aunt Mard’s bead containers and he likes bugs which makes the tutorials in this book a perfect craft project to do when he visits.
Check out the inside pages of the CraftSide blog for more information about the Bead Bugs book. The link shows a preview of what you will find in the book and teaches you how to create wings for the tiny insect known as the fly!
